Plain-English summary

This is the legal agreement between you and ValiamTech j.d.o.o. (we, us). It governs your use of autovaluer.eu, app.autovaluer.eu and the AutoValuer mobile apps. The full text is below — here's the short version:

• Basic market-price valuations are free. Pro reports cost €4.99 one-shot, or come in a €29.99/mo 10-pack, or unlimited at €99/mo for dealers.
• Payments go through Stripe Checkout — we never see your card. EU VAT included on B2C purchases; reverse-charge available for B2B with a valid VAT ID.
• Use AutoValuer for personal car research, freely. It's an information service, not financial advice.
• Don't scrape it, resell it, or build a competing product on top of our data.
• Valuations are estimates from public market data — we don't guarantee any sale price.
• Recurring subscriptions cancel anytime; access lasts until the end of the period you paid for.
• Disputes go to Croatian courts; Croatian law applies.

Definitions

Service means the AutoValuer website, web app and mobile apps.

Content means everything we publish — valuations, comparable listings, guides, glossaries, blog posts, branding.

You means the human or company using the Service. Account means a registered AutoValuer account.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to create an Account. If you're using AutoValuer on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password secret. Tell us immediately at info@autovaluer.eu if you suspect unauthorised access.

We can suspend or terminate an Account that violates these Terms, scrapes the Service, or appears to be operated by a bot. We'll explain why, and refund any unused prepaid period.

Acceptable use

You may not:

• Scrape, harvest, or systematically download Content (we offer a paid API for that).
• Resell or republish valuations as your own product.
• Reverse-engineer the valuation model.
• Use the Service to harass, dox, or impersonate.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our infrastructure without prior written permission. Responsible disclosure at info@autovaluer.eu is welcome.

Plans & billing

AutoValuer is free to use for the Basic market-price valuation. Pro reports (fair-price, condition checklist, PDF export, Photo AI condition assessment) are paid. There are three plans:

• Pro Single — €4.99 (one-time): unlocks one Pro report. No subscription, no recurring charge. Credit is consumed on report generation.
• Pro 10-pack — €29.99 / month: ten Pro report credits, billed monthly. Unused credits do not roll over to the next month.
• Pro Dealer — €99 / month: unlimited Pro reports for dealer workflows, billed monthly.

Prices are shown in EUR and include applicable VAT for EU consumers. VAT is added on top for B2B customers with a valid VAT ID; we apply the reverse-charge mechanism where required by Article 196 of the EU VAT Directive.

Payments are processed by Stripe Checkout, which holds your card data under PCI-DSS Level 1 — we never see your card number. Stripe is our payment service provider; their terms apply in parallel.

Recurring subscriptions (10-pack, Dealer) cancel any time from Profile → Manage subscription, which opens the Stripe Customer Portal. Access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for. We don't issue pro-rated refunds for unused days within a billing period. EU consumer 14-day withdrawal right under Directive 2011/83/EU applies to the first purchase only and expires once a Pro report has been generated using a credit, since the digital content has been delivered.

If your card fails three times in a row, we pause your subscription and email you. No data is lost; reactivate by updating your payment method in the Stripe portal.

Valuations are estimates

AutoValuer valuations are computed from publicly listed asking prices across our 11 European markets. They are estimates of market consensus, not guarantees of any sale price, transaction price, or financing decision.

We are not a licensed appraiser, financial advisor, insurer or bank. Do not rely on AutoValuer as the sole basis for a financial decision involving more than €1,000. If you need a binding number, get a certified appraisal.

Intellectual property

AutoValuer, the gold-on-black wordmark, the car silhouette logo, and the visual identity are trade marks of ValiamTech j.d.o.o.

Content is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only. Paid Pro plans add the right to share PDF valuation reports with named recipients. Dealer plans add the right to display valuations to in-store customers.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms is limited to the greater of: (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) €100.

We aren't liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or anything that can't be excluded under Croatian law.

Termination

You can close your Account at any time. We can terminate for breach with 30 days' notice (or immediately for serious breaches). On termination, your data is deleted within 30 days unless we're legally required to keep it.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by Croatian law. Any dispute that can't be resolved by good-faith conversation goes to the competent court in Zagreb.

If you're a consumer in another EU member state, you keep the consumer protections of your home country.

Changes

We may revise these Terms. Material changes get 30 days' email notice to signed-in users. Continued use after the change takes effect counts as acceptance.
